Description
A watercolor painting of a vintage home in the style of Victorian Eclectic, nestled within a garden of spring flowers on a lovely sunny day. Built in 1891, it was part of the Darlington Place development in historic The Avenues District of Salt Lake City, Utah. The front bay window is capped by an octagonal tent roof with overhanging eaves and brackets creating the appearance of a large turret. In 1906 it was purchased by Paul J. Daly, the assistant city attorney for Salt Lake City. In the 1950's it was converted into apartments, but has since reverted back to a single family home.
